Where to start on a cow that has done so much for our program! Jilt has raised more herd bulls, and top calves than any other female we own. She has been flushed many times and those calves have always been high sellers no matter what she is bred too. Her daughters and grand daughters are among the best young cows in the herd! A son, BJ’S Bulldozer 418, a member of our Supreme Champion pen of bulls at Medicine Hat Pen Show, is turning in to being the best breeding bull ever used at BJ Cattle Co. His full brother that was also in the champion pen was the high seller that year at Medicine Hat Bull Sale to Black Meadows Angus, MB for $16,000! He has done a great job breeding there as well. She has raised high sellers that sold to Bar Double M Angus and Samtia Angus! She is going to be a major part of our program moving forward and you can expect to see embryo calves by her every year as long as she keeps producing. She is currently being IVF flushed and we hope to keep doing that in years to come!
