Never have I seen a cow as consistent as Merit Jilt 7091 – She has had three calves out of three different sires and produced three herd bulls in a row. She is the dam of BJ’S X Rated 012, who we retained here as our junior herd sire. Her first calf, BJ's Forte 921 was Champion Bull in Medicine Hat in 2010. As an added bonus, Jilt 7091 is one of the most moderate cows in our herd. At 1300 lbs mature weight, she is the ideal size to raise herd bull after herd bull.
Her Kodiak bull calf could be the best calf ever born at BJ Cattle Co. BJ’S Gibson’s Finest 103 has been a stand-out since birth and has made a lot of friends so far. His massive bone, outstanding muscle shape, explosive top and great Angus character makes him truly one of a kind. It is worth trip to see him if you are serious about the Angus breed!
